The StarHonor TS V8 Smart Car utilises an independently developed SR-V2 Komodo digital chassis. The vehicle adopts a four-wheel drive system to distribute torque, and the chassis utilises a longitudinal and lateral stiffness decoupling design concept reinforced through extensive K&C tests. The decoupled front and rear independent double wishbone suspension reduces the strain on traditional ABS parts and improves braking performance. The Smart Car is also equipped with the Nebula Intelligent Driving System, with AI support and adjustments to achieve excellent manoeuvrability and handling for an unprecedented driving experience.
The vehicle is equipped with original synchronous toe angle adjustment technology for four-wheel steering, which works in combination with an all-terrain intelligent sensing system, ensuring that the vehicle continuously and actively adapts to various road conditions when driving. The synergy from both systems contribute to significant improvements in areas such as handling, comfort, and drivability in comparison to traditional vehicles in the market.
Our internally developed “Crab Walk” algorithm can easily realise large-radius curve driving, eliminating the difficulty that comes with turning in a narrow space, avoiding incidents that may commonly lead to scratches or require stressful adjustments. Common manoeuvring challenges such as parallel parking can be achieved easily even for novices.
In terms of energy, the vehicle is equipped with an advanced ammonia battery with zero carbon emissions. The battery can also be easily replenished, resulting in excellent long-term battery life. Our energy solution is more economical, safe, and reliable than traditional lithium batteries or hydrogen fuel-cells.
Our Nebula Intelligent Driving System has Level 4 capabilities in autonomous driving, with the ability to plan driving routes that are optimised through continuous perception. This includes accurate identification and avoidance of dangers and obstacles. From lane departure warnings, flexible obstacle avoidance, the Nebula AI assists with decision-making to improve driving safety.
The rear wheels are equipped with an E-ABS braking system, which accurately controls the braking force and simplifies the braking system components. The front wheels adopt an energy-storage ABS braking system: Through advanced energy storage and optimisation algorithms, the response time of the vehicle’s braking during high-speed driving is reduced. Theoretically, the braking response time can be shortened to as low as 0.02 seconds.
The Smart Car is further equipped with the new generation Offee-M smart cockpit, with a holographic display in the interior for on-board business meetings. The smart isolation cabin provides a completely private environment, and users can rely on the Nebula key to ensure data security.
Our Paramecium vehicle-mounted chip enhances environmental perception, optimises path planning, improves obstacle avoidance efficiency, and shortens braking response time with its high computing power. It is key to performing and enacting instant and efficient behavioural decisions.
In addition, the STAR-MOSE system jointly developed by our company and a university in Hong Kong allows for high energy efficiency. An internal algorithm minimises journey time and calculates the shortest viable paths to save on driving time. This is further enhanced through high-efficiency active battery balancing technology in order to realise a new style of autonomous driving through an active improvement of Intelligent driving capabilities, efficiently improving the energy conversion rate while ensuring no compromises to driving safety and performance reliability.
